I want to buy a handbag/purse online. When the seller give the measurements of the handbags what is the formula used to give a prospective buyer an idea on how big or small a handbag/purse/tote really is (example: 14x9x3) ? Thanks alot

I would NOT order from a site that does not tell you how big it is. Really you can't even guess without their dimensions. I sell bags and I can tell you that pictures and them in person the size can be totally different. Ask them for dimensions...if they can't give them to you shop someplace else.

There is no formula. That is like asking how big is a hole? You can measure in inches, mm, or any existing units that you want. You can call a hole that is 12"x12"x12" either one cubic foot, you can call it 1728 cubic inches, you can call it 28,316.85 cubic cm. No matter what you call it, they are all the same size.

What don't you understand about the sizes I have listed?

You can get your very own designer bag from http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/6809f for free. All you have to do is fill out the survey. My girlfriend got her bag from that site and all she had to do was choose the bag she wanted and enter in her email address.

If you don't have a tape measure or ruler, you can use a virtual ruler such as http://GetRuler.com It works in inches or centimeters.

why bother to buy on-line when there are some many stores out there? What you see is not always what you get...
