There are really no good excuses execpt that you didn't do your homework . I mean no one is going to believe you if you say my dog ate my homework.

There are no good excuses for not turning in homework. I, personally, find that going to the teacher and saying something along the lines of "Mr. Smith, I'm sorry, but I forgot to do my homework. Can I turn it in later?" will get you out of trouble for the most part, especially if you do usually turn it in. Teachers would rather have a student be truthful than have a student try to lie their way out. Good luck.

As a teacher, I have to tell you that no excuse is a good one. Sorry (this is coming from someone who used every excuse in the book all the way through college...). When my students don't do their homework, I don't even want to hear why. They get the consequences and we move on. If you usually do your work, the consequence is very mild.

I agree with Shorty. There is no good excuse for not doing your homework. If you were admitted to the hospital, you might be able to get away with turning in a late assignment, but otherwise, you are probably just out of luck.

"I didn't want to do my homework!"
"I had baseball practice and was too tired!"
"I did it and my cat tore up my papers!!"

There are NO acceptable reasons for not doing your homework. I commend you on always turning in yours.

I usually say "sorry teacher... I didn't get it. could you explain it to me again please"
this always works very well cos the fault for this is the teacher.I especially use this to my math homework.but this will make da teacher think dat I'm dumb but who cares.
