I will be leaving Bratislava,and by car i would like to see as much of Slovakia as i can,possibly getting as far as Kosice.

Hello, Im from Slovakia and im glad you want to explore our country! Look at this site http://www.slovakiatourism.sk/index?lang=en, i think you can find some useful info there.
A few tips- be prepared for the fact that service at restaurants is usually slow :-)
When asking for directions or sth similar- look for young people, the older ones do not usually speak English
And as someone before me said- watch out for the gypsies!

I work with Slovak Czechs, and they ALL say, watch out for gypsies!
