ok i already have the apple program for my ipod and i dont know what format of video to use im not really sure and i really need help on finding the right format and i didnt get this ipod new so i do not have any instructions on it or anything and i need some help what kind of format dose an apple ipod usually take anyways could SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

Ipods play either files with extensions of mp4 or m4v (protected).
You can visit this site for software to rip dvd's and convert to whatever format you need including ipod. This is for Mac OS.
I don't know what is used for Windows.

The video needs to be MPEG-4, you can download then off limewire under any format then download Videora ipod converter and it will convert the videos then you can put them on your itunes. Or if you have the DVD of the movie there is a software you can buy, i don't know what it's called, but they sell it at staples, office max, and other electronics stores. I hope that helped.

The File type is MPEG-4, and you need to get an iPod Video Converter. I use Videora iPod Converter. Go to the website below and go to downloads to get it.
