You should really stay with the classics. In my experience when you go with any other colors other than the white shirt with black or navy blazer you are entering a danger zone. This is because jumping events aren't judged by what you wear but rather your form, the horses form, and how well you ride together...plus or minus any fallen poles or missed obstacles.
I'm partial because I'm a grand prix jumper but if you want to know how to dress to impress look at the grand prix jumpers today- a big one being Beezie Madden. She knows showmanship and although would look awesome jumping in a paper sack- knows to go with the classics.

I know hunter rings, and I have noticed some more color choices coming out. I would just stick with the basics. I personally love pinstripes. This is a nice way to get some color, but not to offend any judge, or cause the judge to be to distracted by you.
Make sure if you do wear a different color anything, that you are a really rider. Any mistake and the judge will remember you.
Pink is a good color since it's close to white, and doesn't stick out of the crowd too much.
Good luck

If you are going to show in the jumper or any of the English classes, then you need to stay with the basic colors. White shirts, dark colored coats, and fawn colored breeches. I know there has been a trend to make English more colorful, but a lot if the judges at the bigger shows will knock you for it. Better safe and boring, than flashy and sorry.

The color of the shirt is of little matter as long as the color goes with your jacket. A pink shirt will work nicely with a navy blue or grey show jacket. Just stay professional looking, no crazy colors. The focus should be on your horse and his athleticism, not on your outfit.

There are show rules in certain places you should check with the show committy to see i know some of the colors are dark jackets and light pants. I guess it depends on what type of show your in as wellTheses smaller shows don't matter i hear but your bigger shows do have dress rules.

if your horse is chestnut, go for tans, oranges, and greens. i wear a lot of gold/hunter green with my dark chestnut, and it looks great. try to stay away from black and blue. otherwise, chestnut is a very versatile coat color, and you will look good in just about anything.
here's a chart to show what colors to wear. have fun!

shirt colour is frequently an opinion difficulty, and relies upon on the prepare. I truthfully have constantly been informed that for fancier rated exhibits, medal instructions, and massive equitation instructions, white is the main "suitable colour". yet generally any mild colored shirt that fits your hunt coat and horse's coloring is appropriate. mild lavender is a colour I see at exhibits lots and love!!
