hey i have a 40 hunter and a 30 rogue on a pve server but i want to start a new character on a pvp server. which of those characters do you think is better for world pvp? and which is just funner in your opinion? thanks!

The ideal ganker is a ROGUE, because of stealth-- but if you have no skill, then you CANNOT gank at all. So if you suck at rogues, go with hunter. I play level 70 rogue and it is massive, Cloak of Shadows = OWNAGE
Oh btw GANKING IS EVEN EASIER, with premeditation and COLDBLOOD (plus the 3 combo cheapshot talent-- yeah i forgot its name, i havent played in a while).
Rogue = Premed, Cheapshot, (if 4 points use hemo/sinisterstrike/backstab) 5 points, use COLDBLOOW, EVISCERATE. = Half Dead/Almsot Dead//Dead and if you get in trouble use Cloak of Shadows.
Hunter = Scatter, Freeze Trap, Mark(while walking farther away), Aimedshot, Conc Shot, Arcane Shot, Multishot, serpent sting(2nd shot if rogue). = Half Dead/Almost Dead.
A rogue its a lot easier on them because stuns are almost impossible to get out of, except some skills, and trinkets.
Hunters its harder when being ganked by melee, and if you dont have scatter shot, your almost screwed.
Its your choice, but the IDEAL choice/My Choice is Rogue for world PVP.
Hunter = Battlegrounds
Rogue = World PVP/Ganking (oh and BTW duels dont really count, because people know you are around, it takes away the aspect of surpise-- The rogues BEST weapon.)

I have played WoW for over 2 yrs. As long as you are a good player you can own anything. I have a lvl 60 lock, 55 lock ( I prefer locks, obviously) and a 45 hunter. Actually, I think I like any pet class.
Both Rogues and Hunters are great in pve and pvp. It just depends on what you feel most comfortable playing. With any class you pick...it has to be something you enjoy, a class that is fun for you, and your character has to be able to kick some *** whether you are in pvp or pve mode.
My opinion is that a Hunter would be better in PVP and a Rogue would be best for PVE....but that is my gameplay. Since your characters are of lvl for battlegrounds and instances....play each of them in both situations and decide which one suits you the best. Then lvl that one to 70. Afterwards go back to the other character as an alt and play that one to 70....then u can alternate.
Having 2 high lvl characters is an exceptional bonus in WoW. That way you can alternate depending on what your group/raid needs.

The best PvP class by for is the Warlock and Druid class. ZI know what you guys are thinking like wtf but listen. I know the warlock cannot tank but they hit hard stun sap and summon demons to help them. The demons hit hard and so do u with spells. The Druid is a ok class. Ok tank, and an Ok healer, but once you get your cat form at lvl 20 you own. Its just like the rogue with uses engery and hits very hard and fast. I have had this same problems everyone says bad things bout the class i am so i get mad and quit stick with a class you like and dont stop you should get to 70 in about 5 months from lvl 1 if u play for a good amount of time each day. Hope this helped you with your decision.

neither lol. Both are common as murlocs. I mean it also depends what all you're looking for in the server, ganking, end game, just fun what?
Either is good for ganking esp the rogue for clothwearers, but really just reroll a new toon on a new server. Maybe a lock. GL

I have a 65 shaman and he is fun, but in your case rogues are fun if you liek to be up front and hunters well you just sit back and auto shot pet does all work

Well, I play a hunter and I find it difficult to beat things a few levels ahead of me. Now rogues... OH BOY!!! Rogues can wtfpwnzers ANYTHING! I'd say, go with the rogue.

well.... i would say a night elf druid because if ur like in da middle of a pvp battle u will need to heal or u will die and the animals u can turn to somtimes give u 180 persent bonus armor and som make u go faster i hope u like nmy opininon

well i quit long ago maybe a year, but i had both LOVED THE ROUGE, join a guild ask for like maybe 10 gold, go to..oh damn i forgot what its called but OH auction house buy stuff trust me O_o
