I love wearing pantyhose and I do everyday. I have a certain brand that I like especially well. I just love the way they feel and look. They sure can keep you warm in a cold office. I even leave them on when I'm at home or taking a nap.

I can understand why you like how they feel. To me, they feel soft, silky and feminine, and they do help your legs look great. That said, and as much as I do like them, I also hate them! Wearing very nice pantyhose with a nice gown or dress for the evening can be quite different than wearing pantyhose all day at work. Moving around in them and working all day they become hot, itchy , and sag or fall down -- no fun. When I first put pantyhose on in the morning they feel nice. By 5pm I can't wait to ditch them. Not sure if I am making sense, but that is why I hate them when I hate them and probably why other women do as well.

I think there's a big difference between wearing them for a few hours when you're "playing dress-up" (and yes, women do that too), and wearing them for 8-10 hours a day regularly.
The MOST annoying part about pantyhose (besided the icky sweaty feeling and the runs when you least expect it) is how much of a pain it is to pee. It takes 5 times as long to use the restroom in pantyhose.

Pantyhose are made of synthetic fibre: your skin therefore cannot breathe. Aside from the godawful texture (like Saran Wrap on one’s legs literally sealing in the body's heat and moisture), wearing pantyhose/synthetic-fibre leotards can actually be so unhealthy you can get sick:
What is a vaginal yeast infection?
Vaginal yeast infections are caused by a fungus called Candida albicans. Yeast are tiny organisms that normally live in small numbers on the skin and inside the vagina. The acidic environment of the vagina helps keep yeast from growing. If the vagina becomes less acidic, too many yeast can grow and cause a vaginal infection….
Here are some things you can do to help prevent another yeast infection:
Don't wear tight-fitting or synthetic-fiber clothes
Wear cotton panties.
DON'T WEAR PANTYHOSE OR LEOTARDS every day...

I hate the way they fall down. If you're a guy, I'm surprised you don't have this problem in spades, given you probably don't have the hips women do.
I also simply like the feeling of air on my legs. I think I would dislike a girdle for the same reason - there's a freedom in NOT wearing panty hose.

They can be uncomfortable and too hot. They can be too tight if you are so vain you buy a size too small. Personally I think they are ok, at least in winter. It cuts down on the thigh friction when i wear a dress and makes my legs look pretty. You can't trust them though because you could get a run anytime and that just ruins your look.

They are okay in the Winter to keep you warm. In the Summer, they get hot though. I don't wear them when I dance as I dance a lot. I guess you could say rhey are sexy but you have to remember they are basically just another article of clothes to women.

They buy cheap ill-fitting drug store pantyhose. If they all bought half way good pantyhose that fit properly, they would change their minds about them.
