New U3 smart drive, I don't understand how to use it.?

I have pushed into port, listen to the welcome. Says it is preloaded with acdsee(photo), pass2go, and other I never heard of. The window opens same as my xp but when I try to save folder to the drive it is on I am told its read only and can't. I want to use the 2GB to store information and pictures on. Please help.

U3 is partitioned.

One drive is for OS the other is storage. Insert the U3 then go to My Computer ... you'll see the U3 and another drive.

Hint: Rename the other drive so it stands out from card reader slots etc.
