absolutely, i've been in the phils for morthan 25years and just left this year for a work here in jeddah. most places has it i can say about 90% rural & commercial area has plumbing service except in places that has been terrorized and afffected with super storms. but most of those provinces are already improving. GOODLUCK!!! HOPE THAT YOU FIND MY COUNTRY GOOD...

While there are some remote and isolated places in The Philippines, almost every home, apartment, and hotel in any size city or town you would likely be renting in has up-to-date plumbing. The Philippines is not a third world sorespot. In fact, I've found more problems in China than in The Philippines. Don't worry.

Depends exactly where you are going.
Most of the houses in and around the big cities are so equipped but if you revel in a hot shower you could have problems.
It just makes sense to get a specification before you commit.

yes of course, specially if they are having it rented out. But as previously answered, there are remote villages in provinces (coastal or mountains) that rely on humble sanitary system.
