............. how would you explain to a blind person what color is?
...I'm not looking for any sarcasm but if that's all you got, bring it on.........

Its a nice way to be doing it by comparing it to temperature.
Red would be hot, blue would be cool, white would be ice cold and so on...

When one sense is lacking, the others pick up the slack. I would try describing a smell as a color. They can probably pick up more than you know.

I would describe different colours using whatever i can, textures, smells, sounds,tastes, emotions. I think using all these different things you could give a person a sense of what a colour is.
