I once saw a really cool piece of artwork made with small household items set into a concrete slab in a very artsy way. I think you could do that with a sheet of plywood, or even cardboard, only glue the items on, then make a frame to go around the finished product, and hang it on the wall for a really modern, artsy wall hanging. And what a great conversation piece. It'll be fun arranging it and fitting all the pieces together. :)

:-D Come to craftster.org! We'd love you there! People who want to recon things are just awesome. It's one of the better ways of recycling. ^__^ I break down old cereal boxes and use them as a base when making small items for my SuperDollfie. I printed the papers to make a victorian trunk for her, pasted it to the shiny side of the box, then used glue when I folded it into the trunk shape. Now she has a sturdy functional trunk. Someone posted a link on Craftster of how to make these neat boxes and bowls from magazine pages. It's a great site.
