Currents: Great Britain and Northern Canada are on the same Lines of Longitude/Latitude, which ever lines are parallel to the equator... and Great Britain has mild weather like that of The U.S. While Canada has cold weather. This is because the Gulf Stream (an ocean current) flows toward Great Britain.
