Christopher Reeve was the founder/(no pun intended, god rest his soul)chairman of the "Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation" as he was paralyzed from the neck down after falling from his horse back in 1995. He ties into Stem Cell Research because of his condemnation of the outlaw of embryonic stem cell research which may have found a cure for many neurological ailments and injuries. In case anyone didn't know how else he was famous, you should watch the 1978 blockbuster smash hit "Superman".
