I go to a small private school where being nice and stuff is stressed. Well, there is this girl in my grade for is fat and usually has a negative attitude so no one likes her. I mean NO ONE! Yet, she has somehow got it in her head that she has to follow me and friends around and get lunch at the same table and stuff. We can't tell her to just leave us alone because she will tell and we will get in ALOT of trouble. Just recently her advisor emailed me advisor and my friend's advisors telling them that she thinks that this girl is feeling left out and stuff. So me and my advisor had a "little chat" on what was going on. We don't do anything to her but ignore her hopeing that she will get the message and leave! Yet she hasn't! EVERYONE in the school dossen't like her. Why are me and my friends takeing the blame fore everyone else? Just because we are the people she decided to latch onto. I need some advise what should I do!!?!!? Help PLEASE!?!?!

I can understand if she has a negative attitude. Maybe something is going on at home or in her own personal life and she is looking at you and your friends as a role model or something. Maybe you can talk to her alone and see what her motive really is by trying to hang out with you and your friends.

Your behavior is what causes people to bring weapons to school and ... The unpopular, fat, geeky, kids with acne today - are the ones who will be beautiful, successful, college graduates with good jobs. Nothing that is today - will be 10 years from now. I suggest you do the following. Treat everyone with respect and kindness. A hello. A smile. Practice random acts of kindness. Invite her to eat with you. Be her friend. You will be a better person for it. Don't let society and peer pressure make you a lesser person... Be the person you were meant to be - loving, kind, giving.

put yourself in her shoes. maybe the reason she is mean is because she feels she needs to act that way to protect her own feelings since no one likes her. i am not saying to force yourself to be her friend, but i am saying just for a little while talk to your friends and tell them to at least try to make small conversation with her. give her the opportunity to open up a little and maybe she could be really nice and cool to be around. if it doesn't work out then do whatever, but at least you will have given it a chance.
