Erm... Is this sarcasm? Haha. They refridgerate the rinks, man. It's why we can have ice skating in places like Pasadena. I would say if anything, global warming will have an increase in hockey and other water-related sports. What with the rising oceans, people will be encouraged to move to places with higher elevation like central Canada- where they will have no choice but to play hockey!

Actually, I think indoor arenas are a small factor in global warming since the buildings are pumping out the A/C to keep the ice cold...huh....never really realized that until I just wrote that down...that depresses me...

No, it's been a reality for a while, people just haven't really noticed it as much. outdoor hockey might disappear in many places though, but Hockey will still be around.

If they can play hockey in Miami in April-heck they played in June in 1996 I think they can still keep going. After all, it's indoors.

Only when the polar ice caps melt and we all drown or something. Until then, hockey lives on.
