is there any advice that you can give me to be a good busboy?

I am starting a job soon as a bus-boy and was wonder if anybody can give me advice and how to be a busboy and a good one

1) Don't steal the server's tips!
2) Make sure you stay on top of keeping your server's section clean...the more tables they turn, the more money they make and the more money they have to tip you out at the end of your shift.
3) Don't be loud, messy, or annoying to the surrounding guests enjoying their meals.
4) If you're walking by a table in the restaurant and notice somebody has put some dirty dishes on the end of their table to get rid of them go ahead and grab them even if it's not your section. Servers will notice this and request you in their sections. Then you can bus for the best server and get MORE $$$!!!
5) This is the most important of all......DO NOT PISS OFF THE DISHWASHER! This person usually doesn't speak English, but it won't matter because you will know when they are mad!

Oh, and I definitely suggest watching the movie Waiting with Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder).....That movie is so funny, and it will give you a clue as to what it will be like working in a restaurant!

Be the invisible busboy with the clean dish bin and cloth. Don't make eye contact with the customers. Work fast, quietly, and stay out of the way.
