well most of my black friends are racist towards other races, but when it comes to them they think that it so wrong. When i try to explain that to them they don't understand. Most of my friends also use the "n" word. Me personally were not even teens yet..well some are thirteen but that's it why do you have to use that word, cuz no matter who you say it to even with in the race it's still hurtful. I think it's really ridiculous. They just don't think. They say im not black because i don't listen to rap about how much money they have and how many inches there rims are. do you think i care. cuase i don't thats why i listen to alternative and r&b alil country and classical and i'll be fine. I just don't get how some African - Americans can be so stupid and not respect anything but themselves, and most of the time they don't even do that.

Was there a question in there somewhere, darling?

being black has nothing to do with listening to rap. In fact, most rap consumers are white. Thats a fact.

i think they are not trying to be racist. their are a lot of people who are racist to us black. most people here in the states that are rich are white, so if they are racist to black people they can hurt them a lot, like their jobs and things. and if i black talks about white person because of their race (yes it is wrong) it is not going to hurt their job or anything. I don't use the n word.

Umm Jamal is a white racist pretending so he can get attention.

To your question though, I agree and I have experienced the same problems before. There are ignorant people in all races and they usually never amount to anything

i know exactly what you're talking about. My two best friends are African and White mixed, and we talk about the smae things but they understand what i'm saying, and they aren't racist toward anyone. When i hear black people use the "n" word, they act like it's nothing. if a white person says it, it makes them racist.

i hate how rap music always sings about money, girls, cars, and other lame things. I admire you and your perspective. you seem to know what is going on. ;)

Most people are racist toward somebody. You see racism in Africa, racism in the Americas, racism in Asia...it's a worldwide phenomenon.

It's good that racism has gotten quite a bit of attention in this country, what with slavery, abolition, and civil-rights movements. I don't think we've done enough, but when you consider what a pervasive, destructive, worldwide phenomenon it is...well, at least we're trying.

That's more than you can say for a lot of people around the world.

Racism is stupid. We shouldn't judge people because of their race, only their character. It's also socially unacceptable for a white person or any other race to use the n word . When blacks say the n word they are just degrading themselves. I am black and I never use that word. You can also say white or latin people can be stupid. You don't have to through out insults to make your point.

That is just the state of things these days. It is how our social world works cause and effect. There are many reasons why blacks act the way they do today, many reasonable excuses. However, nonetheless, the black idealism today is harming only blacks. There is a way out of the dark area many blacks are in today, but it is going to take time, in time things should get better.
