The only thing Bush is sure of is that he is out by the end of 2008 and that he needs to support his troops in Halliburton before his gone.

Apparently, they do have serial numbers which trace to Iran. Of course, this doesn't mean that they are supplied directly from Iran; insurgents could be buying them from Iranian manufacturers, or from weapons dealers who purchase Iranian equipment.

"The evidence they laid out, like Powell's presentation, was impressive at first glance: mortars, rocket-propelled grenades, and armor-piercing explosive devices called explosively formed penetrators, bearing serial numbers that the officials claimed link them to the Iranian regime. Such weapons, the officials said, have killed more than 170 Americans in Iraq in the past three years."

WHERE ELSE DO THESE WEAPONS COME FROM - WE HAVE A FEW CHOICES - LETS SEE SYRIA AND IRAN. THEY ARE NOT BEING MADE IN IRAQ AT SOME FACTORY. THEY ARE NOT BEING MADE BY THE TERRORIST FACTORY IN IRAQ. SO WHERE MIGHT THEY COME FROM. IT IS NOT A SERIAL NUMBER IT IS A SIGNATURE - A KNOWN WAY IN WHICH AN ENEMY MAKES A DEVICE. THE ATTACK ON THE KIDNAPPED SOLDIERS WAS A WELL DESIGNED AN ORGANIZED ATTACK BY A WELL ORGANIZED DISCIPLINED GROUP THAT MOST LIKELY MEANS A WELL TRAINED SOLIDER. MOST LIKELY SYRIA OR IRAN.

its interesting to note how there are a few stories each day now connecting iran to the violence in iraq ... kinda rings a bell about some stories we were told about wmds' before iraq was invaded ... and i may be wrong ... but isnt an ied an improvised explosive device ... in other words somthing that was configured out of somthing else and other parts ... so why would it have a serial number on it like it came off an assembly line ... watever .. the whole situation stinks ...

The world is one big black market for weapons, there is no way to tell if they were stolen, traded or counterfeit, but Bush should know because his family has been making money off armaments for generations.

Shia's are backed by the Iranians. Our soldier's are being killed by these IED's from the Sunni sources, which are Saudi and Jordanian backed entities.

Evidently they have people who are experts in the field. I know you guys think the US Army is inept at everthing they do, but to make the claims they have they really need to have some good evidence.
