What will happen if I restore my iPod nano to the newest updated version?

I want to know if i will lose my music off of my iPod and/or iTunes more importantly. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plus my new music wont go on any clue why? hurrry plz! and thanx alot !

IF you update to the latest software it won't affect your songs stored on the ipod.

IF you do a restore then you'll erase everything. DO NOT do this unless you have backed up your songs.

You can RESET the ipod if it won't play.

Do this to RESET.

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
