I own, but am dying to sell this house. I can't wait to get back to renting. Owning is great when you have a family, but is pointless when you are single. I know of which I speak, having worked in the mortgage industry for 6 years now.

Bought mine...I am glad I started buying when I did. In less than 20 yrs my house has gone from 90,000 to almost 400,000 dollars. If you are debating on whether to buy or rent, I would buy.

Buying - the house prices around here have tripled, so we are very lucky. Hope our children are able buy their own home one day, but it's gonna be tough on them.

Buying... it's cheaper than rent - and I can paint the walls fuscia if I want to.
