saying u spelled something rong or has a stupid response..ugghhh!! people who do that are beyond stupid themselfs

Human ego. Everyone has a basic need to feel good about them selves. There are two ways of going about this.
First. Be proud of something you did. Hey! I fixed my car today!
Second. Put some one else down. You suck, you can't even fix your own car.
Since the second is much easier than the first, and such people tend of follow the path of least resistance, that is why they look for flaws in others. It's much easier than correcting their own.

Some people love to thrive on pointing out others mistakes and short comings. I really don't know why, but maybe it is because they really have low self esteem and feel bigger when they can try and bring somebody else down. It is highly annoying! And I think you are right, people who do that ARE beyond stupid!
