im getting married this week, and i wll have to leave back to the states for work 10 days after my wedding. i will be filing immigration papers for my husband and that takes min. 6 months. so i wont see him for a while. how can i make the most of a 10 day honeymoon, which we have decided to spend at home so we can spend more time together. were both very upset that i will be leaving so quick since it was a last minute decision. i dont wanna spend my honeymoon dwelling on the fact that im leaving. so how can i make the most of the short time, and have a good time instead of being depressed?

Never leave the bed. Couples have more sex on their honeymoons than during the rest of their marriage.

Spend 80 % of your time in the bed giving him some good loving, the other 10% go out and eat or just just send out for something to eat, the other 5 % let him know how much your going miss him the last 5 % hit that bed again and make that 5% count.

Have lots of romantic and fun times together. take lots of pictures and have people take pics of the both of you as well. Go visit alot of memorable places while you are there. Do things together to build many memories that will live in your hearts and minds for many many years to come. Have fun and enjoy yourselves and dont focus on the negatives and things that you dont like. Focus on the positives and have the best time possible with each other since you have the precious time and moments together. Congratuations to you and your husband on your upcoming marriage and i wish you both the very best!

Just stop thinking about it. You need to just accept what you can't control and do the best you can for what you can control. Have a good time together, enjoy each other. Savor it...it is your honeymoon after all!

Where are you off to? When i went to Europe, I did major day-by-day planning. Where to visit, where to eat, how to get there, how much to set aside, what extra activities can be done..

Then don't forget your best lingerie pieces for the night activities. :) Spend more time thinking about being a trip planner/ guide, look forward to the ambiguities in traveling and keep your mind busy.

Just enjoy each other. Don't even think about the fact that you're leaving until right before. Don't let yourselves be depressed. You're married!

The last time I gave an honest answer to a question of this sort I was given a violation for 'adult content'. So guess you'll have to figure it out for yourself.

Marry a 90 year old instead. That way a week will seem like a lifetime.
