Is this far from when you disagree with Islam and the muslims label you "Infidel" ?

Man-made global warming is not a self evident truth, so how can people be convinced so easily and on such flimsy evidence? Is it because they WANT to believe?

Al Gore invented the internet so why not Global warming lol - He is the little duck who cried the sky is falling the sky is falling or the little boy who cried wolf. He is standing in a crowded theatre shouting fire and the only ones running for the exits are the far left whacked out left wingers. It is like George Carlin said - it is the earth getting ready to shake us off like little fleas cause we have invented what we were here for plastic.

Maybe or maybe not but here's what I know.

If you take a look at Al Gore's book, he doesn't just prove that we are speeding it up but does talk about how he got involved in it. When his father was Senator, he and his family would go to their Tennessee farm every summer and the other seasons at DC. He said that if he stayed in DC his whole life he would lose apreciation of the environment. Also, he has been doing research with the top scientists. He did say that the profits from his movie and book will go to his cause of fighting against it.

I don't know if the left labels dissenters stupid but there has been accusations if you're in the Bush administion are you disagree with its stand that global warming is not speeded up by humans, then you're "edited." What I mean is scientists like James Hansen claim that the White House has distorted his reports while working there. It could be just to please the oil interests.

Now, please tell me that they're just mere coincidences. The more CO2 in the air the more heat it traps, right?

For me, it is much worse when Muslims label you as "infidel" than the left "stupid."

Now, how is Al Gore lying? It's like asking people how is George Bush lying on Iraq when they provide flimsy evidence. Personally, Bush must have interpreted the intelligence wrong.

Global warming is the liberal revenge for Ronald Reagan winning the cold war. Liberals are never happy with Americans not worrying about something that will destroy the world. When I was a kid we used to hide under little wooden desks if the Russians tried to Nuke us. Like that was gonna help! When Reagan defeated their buddies the Russians they went on this Global warming kick to replace the fear of Thermo Nuclear War that Reagan had taken away. When they saw this wan't having the effect they had hoped for, they had Clinton give the Chinese technology so that they could Nuke California if they needed to. Nobody really cared so they are now back to their Global Warming kick.

Since its not really about actual science then I believe you are close on this one. Its about power. Its much easier to promise to save us from something that is nebulous than to provide solutions to actual problems.
