All these people think that Alabama has a national title shot, what are they on? I mean I don't think they have a chance to win the SEC west much less the national title. Any thoughts on why they are delusional?

I'm with you man, they don't know what they're talking about. Bama is looking at a 4-6 loss season next year and will be 4th in the SEC West putting them in the middle to lower half of all SEC teams.

Bama desires a new "Bryant" so bad they think changing the coach will instantly catapult them to glory. Sorry the tide fans, it isn't happening in one year!

Yeh, Saban has never gone undefeated. If he couldn't do it with LSU talent, how can he do it at Bama? He might be the 5th best coach in the SEC with the 6th best talent. And that's being generous. He's basically surrounded by teams that are just flat out better than him: Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and LSU. Bama is a has been, the Bar is dead, even he couldn't beat Neyland, and Bama fans should just get used to it.

There was a Tennessee fan, an Alabama fan, and a pig that all were in the waiting room of a hospital maternity ward at the same time, waiting on their babies to be born. All of a sudden, the lights went out. When they came back on, the nurses came out and told the expectant fathers that they had good news and bad news.

The good news was that all three had healthy offspring. The bad news was that since the lights went out during delivery, they couldn't tell which baby belonged to whom. They said they would let the fathers draw straws and the first one to go in could select the one he thought was his.

The Tennessee fan got to go first and after spending 30 minutes in the delivery room, he came out with the pig. When asked by the nurse why on earth he did that, he said, "I just couldn't take a chance on getting the Alabama baby!"

There was a Kentucky fan, a Alabama fan, and a Tennessee fan that went to Saudi Arabia and got in trouble for gambling. They were arrested and each given 20 lashes as their punishment.

Each fan was given one wish before his punishment was administered. The Kentucky fan went first. His wish that was a pillow be strapped to his back to soften the blows. After seeing how much pain the Kentucky fan endured even with the pillow, the Alabama fan's wish was that he have two pillows strapped to his back while he was flogged.

Finally, it was time for the Tennessee fan's punishment. Because the person who was administering the blows had heard of the Big Orange, he granted the UT fan two wishes instead of the customary one. So, the Tennessee fan's first wish was that he be given 200 lashes, rather than just 20.

The Saudi was perplexed. He couldn't figure out why someone who wish to endure such pain. He then asked,

"What's your second wish?" To which the Tennessee fan replied, "Strap that Alabama fan on my back!"

They don't have a shot at one next year, but give Saban 4-5 years to build his team and his program and they might have shot if they can make it out of the SEC.

But right now with teams like Florida, Tennessee, and LSU pulling top 10 recruiting classes....they're gonna have to do some SERIOUS recruiting and coaching in the next few years to do that. I mean the SEC is dominate now, what do you think it's going to be like when those recruiting classes develop in the next few years?

And as far as them being delusional, you'd be delusional too if you pulled Nick Saban hahhaa. Just look at South Carolina fans hahahhaa.

as a bama fan, i have to say that i believe you. right now, bama needs not just major managerial overhaul, it needs overhaul of the players on its teams. they need to get coaches that work together to make the team better, not each trying to concentrate soley on his/her area of expertise.
