Oh for crying out loud. Since safari64014 copied and pasted my reply to a similar question in as his own work I guess I don't need to repeat myself. What safari said will work well, I know I wrote it and he stole it.

Good Grief

As to the fins, they will grow back but it will take a while and they will never be as straight and pretty as they were before.

If it in easy terms a tear it is going to heal up yet whilst it is been rip off ( meaning the fin alongside with the rays of the fin are bumped off) then it won't advance decrease back. even whilst the fins or tail of a betta gets rip off, it will stay to inform the tale no situation. in basic terms make confident that water parameter is solid and that the rip tail does not develope hassle eg. fungus. whilst a hobbist have the point to spawn the betta you're able to be prepare for such element to ensue, it is organic. in case you do not have the point to spawn them, then you shouldn't positioned them togather.

They might grow back, if an infection doesn't set in and kill them.
