The 90 year old guy with the yellow teeth and the
non-filter Pall Mall, hanging out of his mouth couldn't
give a rat's patootie, whether or not he looks cool.
On the other hand, the 17 year old guy, with the waist
of his jeans hanging perilously around his crotch, and the pack of Newports in the front pocket, is trying very hard to look cool. Me? I love my Camel Turkish Jade 100s, and I couldn't care less what anybody thinks...lol

Well, what I noticed is that most smokers tend to be self-absorbed, so yes they are trying to look cool. But it eventually becomes a habit, and they don't care who they hurt....our neighbors have two kids and a baby, and they smoke all the time. So their kids are all sickly, it also filters into our house, and makes us sick too. It is a stupid habit.

It's just you. If they did it to look cool they wouldn't do it when they were alone. I just quit smoking 2 months ago and I barely smoked around people, so I wasn't doing it to look cool for myself.

I don't think so. That ends in like middle school. After a while, it's not something you do to look "cool", you just want to.

i know its bad for u and crap i do it to relief stress not look cool thats gay
there are like 90 year old smokers why would they want to look cool?
think bout it, some might do it to look cool not all

They started out looking cool, or trying to. Then they got hooked. It's like my cousin, Carl the Crackhead. He started doing it to look cool, and now he seems to want it all the time. Or my other cousin Harry the Heroin Addict.

Maybe initially. But I think now what most of are trying to do is satisfy a craving caused by an addiction.
