Take her to one side and politely ask her to do the mopping before you start your work. Failing that, be honest with her and tell her what the problem is. Afterall, she will only be embarrassed herself, but why should you put up with that. Take the bull by the horns so to speak, be brave and tell her. Its the only way really.

If you've never said anything about it, maybe she thinks she has been getting away with it all this time. Next time tell her she needs clean water because the water she has is smelling up the reception area. She should get the hint.

Put a really strong air freshener in the reception area. Or just get up and spray something in the air while commenting "what is that smell and ask her do you smell that" I bet she will get the hint.

Ii is always a breath of fresh air for me when I hear of a Fart Sniffer like you forced out of the closet. Tell the aromatic young lady how much you are enjoying the fruits of her chute. Maybe she'll fart in a bag so that you may enjoy her scent when she is away.

Have her do that area at a different time of day, maybe her gas will have subsided by then.

You should issue gas masks and bio-hazard military suits for all your staff and contractors.
