Ask quick. She will be on cloud 9 looking for a dress and bragging to her friends. Some girls go all out and they need all the time they can get. As soon as you find someone you want to take, you should ask right away. She has to clear it with her parents too. Don't forget to get her a corsage (or even a flower to wear in her hair).

As much as humanly possible. But, if she really likes you it won't matter when you ask her...just don't leave it until the day before or someone else could beat you to the punch!

Don't go, its a waste of time. I went to my senior ball and it was the biggest waste of time I ever imagined and the girl was annoying. I don't understand why they have dances and all the prom and tolo garbage. What a waste of time.

i would say about a month or more because she would have to get a dress, shoes, etc. unless you guys are good planners, give some time because plans can/will go wrong. things can come up.

3 months if you really like her or she's your girlfriend. 2 months if you think you like her. 1 month if you want to figure out if you like her. night before if you are desperate j/k:) but 1-3 months are good. have fun!!
