my yahoo 360 and yahoo answers name was inspired by 3 things almost 5 years ago
When I was thinking of a new name for myself I had been doing 3 things in the few weeks and days before those were:
1.) Watching the western movie with the same name starring Clint Eastwood about a criminal who was believed dead and arose as an "anti hero" or a "killer of killers" to help defend an 1800's california gold mining camp against a corrupt land baron.....
2.) There was a Johnny Cash song on The Man Comes Around Volume IV and it was also part of my inspiration of a line which was "and carry a letter to the dark one pale rider to the woman i loved so well the letter will carry my undying love...."
3.) The final thing that was my inspiration was an anime movie I love and had chosen to watch that week that movie was the original Vampire Hunter D which is about a half breed vampire who hates his vampire heritage so badly he has become a slayer of vampires
the reason #3 fits so well for me is my mother and real father were never married and my real father raped my mother then went to prison and I am the offspring of that violent act of rape
so yeah those were it for me

I picked it because I have always been fascinated by Romanian lore. I have family friends from Wallachia and they used to tell stories about Bran Castle, Castle Poenari, Countess Erzebet Bathory's Castle and more. They'd go off on tangents about what it was like to be there, the foreboding sensation, but at the same time the compelling uge to explore. I'm learning the language so I can go there myself. I front a rock band, so it's a great inspiration.

The screen name I picked for this forum Jalapinomex is because I am part Filipino, part Mexican and part Haole which is Hawaiian for White. I used the Spanish Jala...instead of the Haole because I am not Hawaiian. A screen name I use in other forums is Houziwang...it means Monkey King in Chinese...because I was born the year of the monkey, and I like the Chinese Legend of the Monkey King....

I'm usually trying to annihilate my electric bill. I know the wattage of everything running in my house. I have some sort of obsessive compulsive delusional analytical electrical disorder. Which means I get really wrapped up in stuff and get shocked for no reason over and over again. I give up on knowing why and just wonder when. ZZZZZZZTTT! OW! See its happening again.
