I would have to say Ty Cobb. He is the all time leader in career batting average with .367. He was a triple crown winner in 1909. He is the first player to have more than 4,000 career hits until Pete Rose broke the record in 1985. He hit more than .400 three times. He hit .320 for 22 straight seasons. He was a part of the first Hall of Fame class of 1936. He played for the Detroit Tigers from 1905-1926. He became the player/manager in 1921. He was voted the DHL Hometown Hero for the Detroit Tigers. He was ranked #3 in The Sporting News 100 Greatest Baseball Players. I think that Ty Cobb is the greatest Tiger of all time.

Ty Cobb. The hits, the stolen bases, the batting average, the intensity, the spikes....lol They've been some other great Tigers, but the Georgia Peach is still the cream of the cop.

Ty Cobb, didn't hit many HR (117), but check out all his triples (295)...and SB (892)...and BA (.366). From what I hear he was a bit of a racist though.
Also, Hank Greenberg put up better numbers than Al Kaline, but was limited to a shorter career.

super team confident, yet they did no longer have a undeniable hall-of-Famer and in case you seem at "super communities" all of them have a hall-of-Famer. i do no longer think that it had lots to do with region of the gang, the Royals and Twins made the checklist for God's sake. however the Royals had Brett and the Twins had Puckett. In my suggestions Trammell & Morris would desire to be interior the HOF, via fact they have been between the right 3 at their place for an prolonged quantity of time. yet of course it is not our opinion, however the baseball writers opinion. i do no longer think that the 1990 Reds have been on that checklist and that that they had an stunning run as nicely. do no longer hardship approximately appreciate from the media, undergo in suggestions the gang and the suggestions which you have from the gang.
