Tom Baker. He was the Doctor who set me up on my Dr Who Phobia! I'm serious! I had to read his autobiography as part of CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and he has led the most incredible life.
So i say Tom Baker, because even though he ruined my TV viewing childhood and made me run screaming from public places at the age of 26 when i came across anything Dr Who related, he is a brilliant actor (for exactly this reason) and quite an incredible man.

Tom Baker with that deep voice and gimmicky long scarf. Like he was made for that role. Although David Tennant is a good substitute for him he brings vitality and good humour to the New Dr Who programmes.

I always had a soft spot for Patrick Troughton. I remember when he first appeared in it and he played the penny whistle I think. its a shame most of his episodes were deleted. Hes the first Dr I remember and it brings back loads of memories of hiding under cushions or behind the sofa cause it was so frightening.

Tom Baker. And the worst? No contest, Sylvester McCoy. It wasn't totally his fault though, he had some terrible scripts.
