I have a bisexual friend, "Anthony" who has a purely sexual relationship with "Xavier." The thing is, the Xavier is WAY more into Anthony more than vice-versa. Anthony only uses him for sex, (he admitted this to Xavier and myself) and Xavier says he's okay with that, but it's apparent that he's not.
Does anybody have any advice I could give Anthony? I know what's going to happen is that Xavier will eventually push for more than just sex, or he'll get insanely jealous when he sees Anthony talking to other people....how can I make Anthony see that he's being mad selfish and hurting himself as well as Xavier?

you really can't.........this is the risk of friends with benefits, not everyone can REALLY handle it they just say they can to stay close to the other person hoping that individual will change their mind and want more out of the relationship too. about all you can do is talk to both of them (since they both know the score) and let them know that you are friends with both of them and won't take sides when one of them gets hurt..........you might want to see if Anthony has another "friend" that he could work an agreement out with who wants just the benefits and tell him although he is going to hurt Xavier it would be better now rather than later............see if you can hook Xavier up with someone that is looking for a real relationship to take his mind somewhat off Anthony. Kind of a tall order so just be a friend to the both of them and try to stay as non-bias as you can. Good luck looks like you are in for a bit of drama!!

Sad to say it but the only way he will see this is after it happens - if Anthony is really worried - tell him to spend some time with another friend and then deal with Xavier's reaction - there is nothing you can say that will make it all better - you just have to deal with the actions and consequences

All you can do is talk to "Anthony" and tell him how you feel and how his actions are making "Xavier" feel. Let him know that "Xavier" and himself are going to get hurt. Once you tell him what's going on, all you can do is hope that he'll consider the feelings of those around him.

Im not too sure i had a friend in this position once, broke his heart :(.
i think it would be the same as the many females and male friends with benefits, the guy usually doesnt want more, but the girl does, or vise versa, and its just plain hurtful..i dont think theres much to do unless try to get them to fall in love with you

These never work!! It always happens that one develops feelings. Tell Anthony to spare X and stop it now if he has no intentions of moving it forward. Tell X he deserves better and that spiritual love is far more important and fulfilling than purly physical. Goos luck.

unfortunately you can do nothing as your friend is aware of what is what and you can stop them from feeling or doing what the are doing
you have to be strong and just be there for them not judging or taking sides
you may be surprised by what does happen in the future
just continue being a friend that's all you can do
