At what age do you think body piercings are appropriate-
the youngest and and the oldest age that should be able to wear pierciings?
(i.e. if you dont want a 5 year old with a bellybutton ring, or a 80 year old with tons of face piercings)

I think belly buttons are fine for 16 and up. No facial ones until they are living on their own money. It really can hurt your employment chances. For me it works ok, but I work in a bar and have an otherwise mainstream appearance.
I'm 31 and have a navel, and small nose stud. And my ears were pierced when I was a baby.

I'm 38 and I just have my ears pierced once. Although I would like to get my belly button done some day. I don't think there is a real age limit as to when you shouldn't get a pierceing done. Obviously you don't want to say total face rings on an 80 year old, but there are many women in their 60's that look damn good and I could see rings on them. As far as the youngest, I can see earrings on a new born, but anything else should probably wait till high school or at least junior high.

I'm 20, female, I have 9 piercings, 3 in each lobe (all 12g), nose ring, ring in left cartilage. I plan on getting a vertical bridge next week. I feel that 13 is a good age for ear piercings. I think the child should be able to decide wither they want it or not and have parental permission. I have seen people pierce their 2 month old baby's ears and I don't agree with it. Not only does the baby not know whats going on but what if when that baby grows up they are angry for having it done. Legal adult for other body piercings. As for too old, I don't think there is an age limit for that one. I plan on being a 90 year old woman all pierced and tattooed. Sure my tattoos will be wrinkly and my piercings might get saggy but I knew that when I got em.

I think you should be at least 6 years old for ear piercing
At least 18 for piercing anywhere else
You shouldn't be over 30 for BODY piercing, but for ear piercing the age limit should be 60
I had my ears pierced for the first time at 6 years old
I pierced my ears again (2nd piercings, and one cartilage) at 14
Female in high school (I'm not too fond of giving out my age)

I don't think body piercings are a good idea at any age--- the scarring is horrible. I knew a 20 yr old who had the "lace" effect on her back. She took them out, but it scarred so badly, she will never be able to wear a backless dress without questions again....

I'm 34..I have three piercings in each ear.
I think earing piercings are fine around as soon as they are allowed as an infant..like one
anything else..when they are about 16
face piercings and other places..18 or what ever the legal adult age is.

I think body piercings are appropriate when you can pay for them yourself.
Ear piercings are appropriate when the child is able to say that he/she wants them AND is able to take care of them. I hate seeing earrings on practically newborn babies.
I'm 44 and had my ears pierced years ago, but haven't worn earrings in years.

im 17, female and have like a nipple ring.. tons of ear ones. and plan on getting a lot more lol is that bad to ur standards?? i think little girls shouldnt get stupid things done when they are reallly young.. and once u hit like 40.. take out the peircings in the face..it's not flattering

I think it does not matter for the ears but for the belly & stuff I think U need to be 21 for that & no adult should have odd peircings.
I will also answer your other ? by saying
I am 17.5 female & I have two ear pericings (no neither one is a top one)
