If the USA had a nationwide civil war (actual war) between the Liberals and Conservatives?

The Cons would win relatively easily. 95% of the US miltary is Conservative and 95% of the people who own guns in the US are Conservatives. The group that has the most guns in a civil war always beats the group that doesn't have any like US liberals.

Well, the liberals would fight among themselves trying to decide what position they should take on military force. Speaker Nancy "I must have a 42 seat private military jet at my beck and call" Pelosi would be up against Dick Cheney and Nancy would attack Dick Cheney accusing him of accusing her "unpatriotic". So- he'd take her hunting with him...On the right you'd have Newt Gingrich and Rudy G. launching anti-B.S. missiles at Hilary - but Hilary wouldn't notice because she'd have to watch the polls to determine what action she should take . In the pressbox representing the Conservatives would be Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. Representing the Liberals would be Al Franken, Jesse Jackson, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, CNN, ABC, CBS, The Post, The Times, BBC, PBS, NBC and all of the affiliates. In the midst of the battlefield Geraldo Rivera would be reporting that in a stunning development many of the Liberals are suddenly not able to pick up a gun, in fear that George Soros will defund their campaigns. Suddenly they start to argue over whether or not to vote for a non-binding agreement that states this, that or something or other - (I mean since we pay their salaries with our tax dollars - what better way for our tax dollars to be put to work than to have them waste days deciding whether or not to vote on something that has no effect or ability to decide anything???) Manning the skies, Al Gore flies in his private jet dropping missiles (which look oddly similar to his book "An Inconvenient Truth") on ignorant people - all while holding a press conference calling for the illegalization of jet fuel emissions and calling anyone that flies in a private jet a hypocrite...Eddie Kennedy heads up the life boats up in Chappaquittick, but oddly enough, he's nowhere to be found.

Ultimately no one would win because they would see that it isn't as much fun being on the other side of the fence if the fence is burned down...

I'm pretty sure the conservatives would win, since they actually have the guts to get up and do something. My side would depend on the reasons for the war, but I would very likely be on the conservative side.

The conservatives have all of the manly men and all of the weapons. But the liberals are superior at name calling, whining, and civil disobedience. I'd give either side 50-50 odds. Personally I would stay at home and try to avoid the fighting, but I'd be happy to lend many of my many guns, ammo, and knives to any conservative who promises to butcher a pinko, girly man, feminazi, crybaby, hollywood creep, or moronic rock star with a big mouth!!!

I couldn't tell you who would win because they are both strong and weak at the same time. I would be on the liberals side even if I don't agree 110% on what they are saying. The conservatives just scare me!

Not going to happen! Liberal & Conservative are just words. You can wait the rest of your life before this country ever has another Civil War!
With over 600 thousand of our own people killed in the last one, I don't think that anyone in his right mind would ever advocate this happeing again!

I would side with liberals in that case, and there would be a lot more of them than conservatives. I'd bet on the liberals.

It would not happen because no matter what side you are on ..both sides know all politicians are crooked and say what they want you to believe just to get in office..besides that if we had a fight to the death the only ones left to run the country would be the back wood rednecks that every state in America has some just call them hillbillies ,or country folk ..even you Wisconsin, and you too N.Y. and Oregon too .. shut up Cali you got em too I been to all 48 so you fkrs can not lie to me ..... besides if we killed off one party we would have nothing to do on the net ,and we would have no one to b*tch about or blame when the others party screws up ...it is part of the fun that makes us all learn to talk on here while taking no s*it and standing our ground.
