I know how to import a picture, but how do you write inside the picture itself.

As far as I know, you can't. Word is extremely limited when it comes to desktop publishing. You would need to do that either in Photoshop or a publishing program such as Microsoft Publisher, Adobe InDesign or Quark XPress. I recommend the latter two. If you do it in Photoshop, you should be able to then import the picture to Word.

Microsoft Word is not the program to effectively do this. You could "fake" it by setting the picture to a background property and typing over it, but the text won't remain if you save the picture somewhere else. Simple programs like Microsoft Paint will do the job, though it may not be the most fantastic quality. It worked fine for me...

make the picture a behind text and then you can write on top of it or you could open the picture in paint and write on it that way
