Are you proud that your party thought it was a great idea to stop kids from being taught about Veterans Day and Memorial Day?

Let's take a wild guess here. Those who thought arbor day is more important than veterans day voted for Kerry and they'll vote for Hillary.

I didn't lose any respect in my Democratic party because you are not telling the whole story.

The whole story is that it was only a bill stating it was no longer going to be 'required'... not one 'stopping' any teacher from teaching it.

Based on your argument, there are many portions of history that should be mandatory and not by choice. IE, the story of women's right to vote is not required and was an 80 year quest that influenced this nation enormously.

My party has no respect since way back , it showed itself as the "LOYAL OPPOSITION" in other words the other side of the same coin. Wake up! We live in a one party state. For the sake of America and the world at large America is in desperate need of a "REGIME CHANGE"...Mary

When I went to school it was to learn the 3 Rs
Just how many days would you like to set aside
for the glorification of war.
Perhaps it would be better to parade the wounded and disabled,to show the futility of war
