My favorite holiday is the 4th of July (Independence Day). That day has low expectations, it's warm outside, and it's fun.

Almost a trick question since my birthday generally falls on a holiday weekend. But, technically, not a holiday yet.
If you had asked me this 3 years ago, I'd have said Thanksgiving. But after the arrival of my grandson 2 years ago, it's Christmas, hands down. Christmas should always be experienced with a child. I love buying for him, though it's a little tough since his birthday comes less than a month later.
I also love to decorate for Christmas. Every year I buy at least one new decoration. Last year I realized a snowman collection had evolved, so now in addition to searching out cool dove ornaments I get to shop for snowmen as well.
Added:
I saw someone chose "April fools day." That's high up on my list, since it's also my anniversary!
