Ive been having anxiety for about a week now everyday. Just when i get into bed and im thinking about something, ready to fall asleep my legs feel like they go numb. When i move my legs then all of a sudden there fine or when i stand up there fine but its just when im lieing down and thinking of something then it feels like i lost feeling in them up until i move them. Is this because of anxiety or is this a real problem? Should i really worry about his i mean they dont actually go numb it just feels like they are. I think its just my anxiety. Has anyone else had this problem or know what this is?

You need to see your doctor who is qualified, trained, and licensed to give you medical advice. People on this site are not. It may or may not be serious, so see your doctor and find out so whatever it is can be treated.

It is just part of your body's shut down process. When you are asleep the body is paralized by the brain. I forget what the term for it is. It keeps you from flailling around in your sleep. I suspect that since you are suffering anxiety for some other reason you are waking up after the process starts instead of falling into deeper sleep.

If it continues (the anxiety) see a health care professional.

don't worry about it, it is just one of the many things that humans go through in their lives. anxiety can cause many things because emotions are connected to our body and it can respond in different ways. if you want to do something about it though, make sure you are getting enough sleep and excersising a lot because your body could be telling you that something feels wrong. and make sure that you are eating enough because your legs could possibly feel weak if you aren't eating healthy enough. feel better!
