have any really wierd sayings that you find yourself using now?
My mom used to always answer "So?" with "Sew buttons on your underwear, zippers aren't in style."
I just said that to my daughter and she looked at me like I'd lost my mind, just like I used to look at my mom.

ahora si que me lleva el tren...
when mom was exasperated with me as a kid...i guess it means something like:
"what else can go wrong"
literally it means 'now even the train has run me over'...

i constantly catch myself saying things that would come out my moms mouth. I even write like her. I signed my name the other day and it looks exactly like when my mom writes my name.... I dont even have kids yet and I'm turning into my mother... LOL

My Mom used to say, "Do as I SAY, NOT what I DO". I caught myself many times, saying the same thing to my children.

Rule One: "You do and your dead" (applies to everything)
and
Rule: Two "Sh!t or get off the pot..someone else has to use it" (applise to everything)
