The primaries are still a year away. How can we even guess the outcome of the election until we know who is running or what the major issues will be. Right now it's easy to say a democrat should walk away with the election, but we don't really know who the Republicans might put forward - someone like John McCain could draw a lot of democrat votes.

The Democrats have some terrific candidates. John Edwards, the best candidate I've seen in a long time, Hillary is very moderate, very smart, with excellent fundraising(sad, but necessary), Dennis Kucinich will never get the nomination but is smart as a whip, Joe Biden has tons of experience and the very best plan for Iraq'
The Republicans...not seeing much there yet. "Gingrich inflicted a temporary blow to his public image by suggesting that the Republican hard-line stance over the budget was in part due to his feeling "snubbed" by the President the day before, after being forced to leave Air Force One via the back door during his return from Yitzhak Rabin's funeral in Israel. Gingrich was lampooned in the media as a petulant figure with an inflated self-image, and editorial cartoons depicted him as having thrown a temper tantrum. Democratic leaders took the opportunity to attack Gingrich's motives for the budget standoff, and the shutdown ultimately contributed to Clinton's re-election in November 1996"
(There could be some great jokes)
He was forced to resign after he was at the Republican forefront pushing the Clinton investigations but he was having an affair himself while married.

The last thing this nation needs is an ambulance chasing lawyer as a president. (Edwards) That's how he made his fortune, go look it up, he is one of the most hated men in North Carolina.
I think the results will be the same as they have been for the last half century, big-wig elitists win, average people lose.
We can only hope and pray for a dark-horse candidate to come out and have the guts to run.

Sen. Clinton will most likely be the Dem nominee and Guliani looks like the Repub nominee. If this holds true it'll be Pres Guliani in '08.

It is too early to tell who will win the nomination. Whoever wins the Democratic nomination will be the new President in 2008.

Personally I am going for John Edwards >>
so you're going to go with a nominee who allows his bloggers to post anti-christian b.s. on his websites? that's retarded.
