everything mentioned above, but also those horrible parachute pants. good lord they were everywhere! another thing was layering shirts, wearing two or three (god that was hot in the summer!!!). the hairspray of choice (in case you're interested) seemed to be aqua net unscented extra super hold aerosol (it kept our hair standing up all day). ok, have to go listen to some duran duran now, ah the memories.

Big hair, stonewashed, ripped, pegged (tight rolled) jeans. Leather and/or jean jackets. Pastel colors on guys and Neon on girls. For examples rent the movies "Pretty in Pink", "Desperately Seeking Susan", or "Modern Girls." All are classic 80's Movies.

Big shoulder pads for the women! Especially for their business suits.
Guys wore suits but with t-shirts inside a la Miami Vice.

i was born in the early 90s but from movies ive seen back those days they wore bright loud neon colors big hair HUGE jewelry stuff like that
