According to National Atlas, Daylight Savings Time begins on March 11, 2007 at 2am.
Previously DST began the first Sunday in April, but was recently moved up to the second Sunday in March in an effort to save more energy.

I think it is time to quit changing time. Daylight savings time was instituted in WWll so that people would have day light to work in their gardens when they came home after work. It was part of the war effort for everyone to produce all the food they could. There is no need for that anymore. It is actually very disruptive for all the electronic items that we have in this day and age. Besides, I am sick and tired of having to change all the clocks twice a year.
