There are no real conservatives left, or very few. They've been beaten down so bad by the Hate Radio fans, they dare not raise their voices.

Wow...Democrats are now "conservatives"? Let's give Zell Miller a call and let him know. He'll probably want to return to being a proud Democrat, one whose party supports:
- a strong national defense
- lower taxes
- fewer big government spending programs
- the right to life
- school prayer and religious freedom
- morality in Hollywood, the airwaves, the internet and our homes
- traditional marriage and family values
- stopping illegal immigration
- the right to bear arms
- not signing the Kyoto treaty
- fewer restrictions on free enterprise
- right to work laws
- restraints on frivilous lawsuits
- minimum mandatory sentencing for child molesters
- stronger anti-crime laws and the death penalty
Need I go on? I'll make you a deal. You edit your Q. and agree that these bedrock principals of conservatism should be embraced by you and all your fellow Democrats. You do that, and I'll edit my answer to agree that you guys are the true conservatives today.

Real conservatives should start their own political party like the one in New York, the Conservative Party of New York, instead of being associated with a bunch of wackos.
