i actually would not wear a necklace with a halter dress. that's a lot of stuff going on up at your neck. low cut neckline, plus a necklace? I would probably go for some great chandelier earrings and maybe a matching bracelet. simplicity is key.

I would say no necklace, since the dress is cut low you'll be showing enough eye candy. I would however have nice earrings on since that is where ladies look when they talk to you.

Whatever it is, keep it simple in style and close to the bottom of the neck. No dangling necklaces! Since we don't know exactly what the dress looks like, you can also go with something chunky, but it must be close to the neck also. But not a choker. Hope you get it!
