Dems in New Jersey wanted to stop schools from teaching about Veterans Day and Memorial Day.

One Dem thought Arbor Day is far more important than our veterans

But, national pressure from veterans was too much for the Dems.

Dems must be SICK. Do you agree?

Dems, if you don't like this question, please tell us what you think of (1) a person who would sponsor such a bill and (2) your views on it.

Even Democrat Governor Corzine (a veteran) refused to tolerate this stupid law.

I think it is sad so many veterans gave their lives so these pompous political pukes can get up in the state and national legislatures and diss them and run them down. God bless our freedom of expression, I guess. But I am beginning to wonder as I watch the cynical twisted antics of our elected "representatives" why anyone would even want to serve in our military any more.

Speaking in GENERAL terms, I do not think that ALL liberals would support these ideas. I would HOPE that these "birds" are the extreme 0 negative bleeding heart left wingers that are not living in the REAL world. I have often wondered why they take stands such as this. I conclude that the following REASONS are possible:
1. They like to think they are shocking others by taking radical and questionable stands on ideas.
2. They were "brainwashed" (assuming they have brains) into thinking this way by radical left wing teachers in school.
3. They can't chew gum & walk at the same time, therefore they can not see what the future would bring if the MAJORITY looked at things the way they do.
4. They are being intimidated by terrorists or other extremists into publicly making these statements.
5. They are actually that stupid.
Take your pick and poll these mooncalves and see what you come up with.

Oh for heavens sake! What some Democrats did in New Jersey has no reflection whatsoever on liberals. When will people learn that every "liberal" and every "conservative" do not think alike on every issue? Your posting proves nothing that can be generically applied to a mass of people. Let me ask you--what does it take to convince conservatives that the American people are sick of the war in Iraq? The President's approval rating? Or how about the result of the last election? Do you think we would have Democrats elected senators from states like Missouri and Montana if Republicans had not crossed party lines and voted for a Democrat? Why do you think Congress changed hands? Do your think the vast majority of the American people are traitors?

A lot of Dems are out of step with traditional American values and the Dem congress insists on approving liberal judges to the bench, making matters worse. If it's politically correct, the Dems are for it.

Secondly, why not mention the other holidays?
Thirdly, liberals are not a monolithic entity. The actions of a few do not reflect every liberal ever.

Stereotyping and characterizing an entire group of people as traitors and sick based upon the actions of one or a few people is illogical and wrong. If your logic is correct, then my statement that the existence of the "Log Cabin Republicans" PROVES BEYOND ALL REASONABLE DOUBT that ALL REPUBLICAN MEN ARE GAY AND ALL REPUBLICAN WOMEN ARE LESBIANS!!!
