I'm currently on YAZ, which is great...but my insurance doesn't cover it. Can anyone suggest some other low dosage birth control pills I might be able to try?

Tri-cylen Low is the newest one on the market. It has the added benefit of helping with acne.

Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo has been out for a while, and a generic is available. Ask your doctor about a low-dose pill. He or she should be able to recommend on. Also, try asking your insurance company which kinds of birth control are covered and bring the list to your doctor before letting him or her make a recommendation.
