A nice spring day in May. I go to the shore a spend the whole day their, and when I came back a spring rain comes along. Then I sit out on my porch with a book and read while I listen to the raindrops fall.

Saturday the middle of April. My old man and I get up drink our coffee on the back deck, we read the paper, sit and talk awhile. Then we get our things together, get the Harley out of the garage and head over to some friends house. They are waiting on us, about five couples all ready to spend the day riding. We all head out to one of the couples camp in the country. It's about an hour and a half to two hour ride down some back roads in the beautiful spring MS countryside. Not too hot yet but not to cold either. We get to the camp and unpack. The guys start the grills up and get ready to barbecue while the girls go in the camp house and get the other food together. We sit down and eat and drink beer and margaritas and we laugh and talk a whole lot. It's getting dark now so the guys start a fire in the outdoor fire pit and we all move down by the pond and sit around the pit talking, drinking some more and laughing remembering old times and glad that we all made it through Katrina and are still around to enjoy this great day. Eventually we will go to sleep, get up the next morning, enjoy breakfast and coffee, get on our bikes ride some more then go home and get ready for the week that is coming up. It will be great when April finally gets here and we can do this. It's sort of a spring is here ritual for us and we look forward to our "perfect" day every year.

The perfect day would be body boarding and eating some good BBQ on the beach and finishing with melted marshmallow smores, my family would be there, and I would have got a killer ride and maybe practiced surfing , OH a pretty sunset.

mmmm, April 8, a cool, spring morning, wake up at 7:00 and jog on the beach, come back, shower, have an AWESOME breakfast, go shopping/out to lunch with friends, go to a dance, come back, change into shorts and a tank and walk the beach while doing so, meet a hot guy and fall in love, he walks you home and you go to sleep dreaming of him.....the PERFECT day!
