Would you ask the doctor the race of the person who donated? Would you accept an life-saving transplant from a person not of your race?

I know that this probably will not matter to the majority of you, but I want to see if any of the racist on this site will answer.

You would have no way of knowing who the donor was unless you received a kidney from from a live donor or you had information about or contact with the donor family post-transplant and at that point the question would be moot.

I very highly doubt there would be a close enough genetic match for such a thing to occur. Especially since I am pretty much pure Germanic (Scandinavian and German are both original Germanic tribes). However, I would take whatever I could both for myself and any family member who needed it.

That would be the last thing on my mind! I would of course want a picture of the person or their family so I can be thankful and have them in my thoughts though.
