Hi All,

My band has just registered our domain name, and ..well were good musicians, but not know for our web designing. We may consider bringing in outside help down the road, but would like to attempt to build our site on our own first. Does anyone know of a good free(user friendly) HTML Editor, also Java Script program that is out right now?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

You need to be clear about the purpose and scope of your site prior to building it (as by the time you release it, all the information is out of date) to assess feasibility of developing it on your own.

If some information could be dynamic (change based on a script or program instructions) you need to consider where is best for this to occur (client or server). Probably the best client side scripting language is JavaScript. If it is server side, then I suggest you contract and discuss with a web developer these needs to contract these parts.

There are a few out there but most of then are paid. You can try to do your layout at some place like geocities and then save the HTML that you want to your domain.

Good Luck!!!!
