How many hours?

depends on the sport, what part of the training periodization(early,mid or competitive season) they are in, etc.
when I was training in early season we would be going 3-4hrs as you have endurance training plus weights abit more relaxed, mid season you had event specific technique work so you were still averaging around 3hrs getting more serious, as the competitive season got closer we did more speed work so the praxctices may go down to about 2hrs but intense.

Depends on who they are with and what they are training for.

Probably about 3 - 5 hours.
